The FKR cartridge kit features a spring pressurized system, compared to the old gas pressurized system, the spring pressure offers a simpler and easier to use design.

That also brings easier maintenance, as well as setting changes.

But there are more advantages to the spring pressurized system.

There is no risk of gas leakage, it also offers a more constant performance curve and allows for a more compact design.

Öhlins engineers decided to completely transform the FKR compared to its predecessor.

With Öhlins TTX technology, a new piston design and 8mm piston rod, we reduce pressure buildup and create a quicker damping response.

It also offers more adjustment options, increases bump absorption, improves grip and chassis stability.

Öhlins engineers also decided to make the FKR less sensitive to valving changes, making it easy to change cartridge kit settings to your liking and for different tracks if you're racing.
